Climate
Surinam has, for the largest part, a tropical climate. The year can roughly
be divided into two rainy seasons and two dry seasons. The small dry season
runs from February until April.. Starting in May and running through till
the first half of August is the big rainy season. Following until November
is the big dry season.. In December and January there is another small
rainy season. At the end of each rainy season sometimes heavy rainfall
occurs.
Temperature
The daily temperature varies between 23 and 31 degrees Celsius. In Paramaribo
the average temperature is 27,3 degrees Celsius.
